Jiuzhaigou is located in northern
Sichuan and known far and wide as "a fairyland." The
name Jiuzhaogou came from nine Tibetan villages scattered around
in the valley. Its attraction lies in a simple, idyllic beauty:
a fairyland, primitive and natural, without a single drop of dirt,
where majestic and unrivalled emerald lakes, layer upon layer
of waterfalls, colorful forests, snow peaks and Tibetan folkways
get along swimmingly with each other - it is the shining gem nature
